Vehicle renewal at the CSDD customer service center

If the vehicle is removed from the e-CSDD register, it is restored in the register without changing the registration certificate to a new one. This operation can be performed in any CSDD customer service center or electronically in the e-CSDD (more: "Vehicle renewal via e-CSDD").

By renewing a vehicle in the register of the CSDD customer service center, the vehicle registration certificate does not need to be changed if the data of the owner and holder specified in the vehicle registration certificate does not change. If the holder of the vehicle registration certificate indicates a holder other than the owner of the vehicle, re-registration of the vehicle without changing the details of the holder on the registration certificate is only allowed in the presence of the vehicle owner and the registered holder or their authorized representatives (more: "Persons who may register a vehicle").

By renewing a vehicle in the register at the CSDD customer service center, the vehicle registration certificate must be changed if the data of the vehicle, its owner or holder specified in the vehicle registration certificate changes.

Necessary documents

• vehicle registration certificate;
• the passport or ID card of the person submitting the documents. A driver's license issued by the CSDD may be presented if the Population Register contains information of a valid passport or ID card. The operation can be performed by the owner (possessor) or holder of the vehicle or a person authorized by them (see the section "Persons who may submit documents for the registration of a vehicle to CSDD").

In addition, if the vehicle is removed from the register, the vehicle is needed to be presented for vehicle data verification (more: "Vehicle data verification").
