General information

The owner of the vessel can register the actual user of the vessel by indicating him as the holder in the registration certificate, as well as to change the registered holder to another. If no other person is indicated as the holder of the vessel, the owner of the vessel shall be indicated in the registration certificate of the vessel as the holder.

If the holder indicated in the registration certificate has changed for the vessel, and it is intended to participate in water traffic with the vessel, it is necessary to register the change of the holder at the e-CSDD or CSDD customer service centre within 5 days after the change of the holder.

The registration and deletion of the holder can be done in the e-CSDD system (for more details, see: Holder registration in e-CSDD) or in any CSDD customer service centre (see: Holder registration in a CSDD customer service centre).

A holder may be registered if this is accepted by both the owner and the holder of the watercraft.

When registering holder, the declared place of residence (location) of the holder shall be indicated in the registration certificate of the vessel, but in case the owner of the vessel is also its holder - the declared place of residence (location) of the owner of the vessel.

When deleting an entry for a holder in a registration certificate, the presence of the registered holder is not required.
