General information
Driving skills test or pilot test allows motorcyclists to voluntarily take the 1st and 2nd steps of the A1, A2 and A category driving test (manoeuvres area) in the test mode at the CSDD Riga client service centre . After the test, the examiner explains the errors and inaccuracies and issues a protocol with the assessment.
Future motorcyclists:
- can get used to a motorcycle with which to pass a official test;
- can get acquainted with the atmosphere of the official test and the procedure for performing the manoeuvres, thus reducing the anxiety in order to fully demonstrate the acquired knowledge and skills in the official test.
Future motorcyclists can apply for the pilot test only after they have fully completed the training at the driving school, for which a record has been made in the CSDD Register of Vehicles and their Drivers, and passed the theoretical test required for obtaining the licence.
Experienced motorcyclists can update their skills and abilities before participating in road traffic again.
