Replies about recommendations on the road traffic audit
In accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 972 “Road Safety Audit Regulations”, it is the duty of the contracting authority of the road safety audit to comply with the recommendations provided in the opinion as much as possible and within 30 days after the receipt of the audit’s opinion, to provide an explanation in writing to the CSDD and the Ministry of Transport, on which recommendations given in the opinion have been taken into account and which have not, substantiating why it is not possible to consider the recommendation.
In accordance with Paragraph 33 of this Regulation the contracting authority of the project (building design) shall be responsible for the compliance with or refusal of recommendations given in the audit’s opinion of the project (building design), as well as the consequences of refusal, but the road manager - for the compliance with or refusal of recommendations given in the road audit’s opinion, as well as the consequences of refusal.
