Important
If the name, registered address or plan of the point of sale has changed, the merchant must submit an application to the CSDD or notify the CSDD of the relevant information using the online form of the trade register or the official e-mail address of the trade register of the CSDD within 5 working days after the change.
If the local government has changed the address of the point of sale, within one month after the occurrence of these changes, the merchant must submit a CSDD application and a document certifying the assignment of another address to the point of sale (the document must not be submitted if the CSDD already has such information).
If a merchant wishes to engage in the sale of other types of vehicles or numbered units than previously indicated in the application when registering the point of sale, the CSDD must register the relevant changes upon receipt of the merchant's application if the point of sale has a suitable area for sale of these vehicles or numbered units.
Fee for the registration of changes to the sales point – EUR 14,69.
A merchant's point of sale will be excluded from the Trade Register in the following cases:
- the merchant ceases to sell vehicles and numbered units at the relevant point of sale or has not commenced it, or has not performed it for more than six consecutive months (there are no vehicles accepted and sold in trade);
- information has been received from state institutions, which in accordance with regulatory enactments have the right to perform control, that the merchant does not comply with the requirements specified in regulatory enactments, or a request for exclusion of a point of sale from the Trade Register has been received from these institutions because the merchant does not comply with regulatory enactments when selling vehicles and their numbered units;
- it has been established that forged documents have been used or false information has been submitted in order to receive the registration certificate of the point of sale;
- if information has been received regarding the suspension of the economic activity of the merchant;
- it has been established that the title certificate has been drawn up for a vehicle which was not at the place of sale of vehicles at the time of drawing up the title certificate.
Within 5 working days after the termination of the sale of vehicles and their numbered units at the relevant point of sale or after the exclusion of the point of sale from the Trade Register, the merchant must hand over to the CSDD place of sale registration certificate (if any) and assigned number plates , as well as return the vehicles accepted for sale to the owner by drawing up an appropriate deed of return of the vehicle to the owner, or transfer them to another place of sale.
The exclusion of one point of sale from the Trade Register does not restrict the operation of other points of sale of this merchant. A point of sale excluded from the Trade Register shall be renewed in the register upon receipt of an application of the merchant not earlier than three months after the removal of the point of sale from the Trade Register by re-registration of the point of sale if the merchant has rectified the violations and there is no reason to believe that such reoccur. A point of sale of a merchant will not be renewed in the register if it has been excluded from the register repeatedly within two years.
