Validity

The pass is valid for 1 year from the entry in the state registry of vehicles and their drivers.

Prior to expiration of the pass, a registered pass can be cancelled/annulled:

by applicant of the pass him/herself at his/her own initiative;
if the "Regulatory Commission for Public Services" [Sabiedrisko pakalpojumu regulēšanas komisija] has deprived the postal merchant of the right to provide postal services or has excluded the respective postal merchant from the registry of postal merchants;
if the cash collector is excluded from the registry of security businesses for the provision of collection security services;
if the vehicle is no longer in the possession or holding of the person (and this is confirmed by an entry made in the state registry of vehicles and their drivers about the change of owner or holder/keeper of the vehicle) to whom the pass was first issued.

Information about cancellation of the pass is transferred to the postal merchant, institution or tax collector to the e-mail address specified in the e-CSDD profile.

There is no charge determined for cancelling of the pass. The fee paid for an incorrectly issued pass is non-refundable.
