Change of the number of the vessel

General information

A change of the number of a vessel is the change of the number assigned to a vessel in Latvia to another number with a different combination of symbols. It is also possible to obtain the same national registration number (stencils or stickers) as indicated on the small vessel registration certificate.

When registering a vessel in ownership or changing the state registration number, the state registration number may be selected from the number plates available to the respective CSDD customer service center
