Paid information, SMS

Driver data toll text message 1800 (available to all customers of Latvian mobile phone operators). By sending a text message to the number 1800, the text of which contains information (CSDD [space] request code [space] personal code). Note: where 00000000000 is given in the example, a specific personal identification number must be provided:

• for example: CSDD VA 0000000000 can find out whether a person: has / does not have a valid driving licence * (categories);
• for example: CSDD NS 0000000000 can find out whether a person: has / does not have unpaid fines and the amount of unpaid fines.

* If a person has been subject to a prohibition on the use of the licence (e.g., expired licence, no medical examination, licence has been confiscated, etc.), the status of the drivering licence will be “Invalid” without specifying information about the reasons of invalidity. Since this information is not considered to be generally available information, additional information can be obtained only by the individual in his/her CSDD e-services account or by contacting CSDD in person or submitting an application in accordance with regulatory enactments.

The service fee in euros is 0.85 (including VAT) per text message. It will be added to your mobile phone's monthly bill or deducted from your prepaid card.

The service is available to all customers of Latvian mobile operators, if no restrictions are specified in the agreement with the operator.

Possible error messages:

• If there is an error in the text of the SMS, the service fee will not be charged and you will be sent following SMS:

1. if the SMS is written incorrectly, you will receive the following SMS: Nepareizi sastadita iszina. Please indicate the car registration number without spaces, for example: CSDD AA1111;
2. if the amount of returned data is too large (above 1070 characters), you will receive the following SMS: The amount of data received is too large. To obtain the relevant information, please use the CSDD mobile application;
3. if the vehicle registration number was not found, you will receive the following SMS: The requested vehicle registration number #### was not found. Please verify the requested information ".
4. if the personal code was not found, you will receive the following SMS: "The requested personal code ############ is not found or does not exist. Please verify the requested information ".

• If there is an error in the SMS payment process, the service fee will not be charged, and you will be sent follwing SMS:

1. Sorry, an error occurred. CSDD SMS inquiry payment has not been made!
2. Sorry, an error occurred. CSDD SMS payment has not been made! Insufficient funds for prepaid card ";
3. Sorry, an error occurred. CSDD SMS payment has not been made! No paid SMS services ";
4. Sorry, an error occurred. CSDD SMS payment has not been made! The service number is temporarily closed;
5. Sorry, an error occurred. CSDD SMS payment has not been made! Payment process aborted. If the operator is BITE, enter the number after sending the SMS. "
