Paid information, CSDD application

CSDD application can be downloaded free of charge:

• QR code in the “Attached files” section. 

Service fee EUR 1,00 (incl. VAT). It will be added to your mobile phone's bill or deducted from your prepaid card.

The service is available to all customers of Latvian mobile operators, if no restrictions are specified in the agreement with the operator.

Using the CSDD mobile application, by typing in the request window and sending the driver's personal identification code (without spaces), e.g. 12345678901, it is possible to obtain the following information:

• period of validity of the driving licence, status*;
• the categories obtained by the driver;
• the total amount of unpaid fines.

*If a person has been subject to a prohibition on the use of the licence (e.g., expired licence, no medical examination, licence has been confiscated, etc.), the status of the driving licence will be “Invalid” without specifying information about the reasons  of invalidity. Since this information is not considered to be generally available information, additional information can be obtained only by the individual in his/her CSDD e-services account or by contacting CSDD in person or submitting an application in accordance with regulatory enactments.
