General information
Technical modification of the vehicle means changes in its design/composition including change, replacement or removal of assemblies, bodywork, systems, devices, mechanisms, units or parts or installation of auxiliary equipment resulting in changes in vehicle data or vehicle design characteristics.
Technical expertise is mandatory in case of a technical modification. The technical expertise can be undergone at any suitable roadworthiness testing station for the vehicle category in question.
Modifications to the vehicle listed in Point 4 of the Regulation No. 725 of the Cabinet of Ministers “Regulation on the technical modification of vehicles” (hereafter - modification rules) are not considered technical modifications.

- temporary removal of seats, keeping their anchorages;
- installation (or removal) of the tarpaulin frame and of the tarpaulin for the platform body;
