Roadworthiness sticker
When the technical condition of a vehicle at roadworthiness testing is altogether assigned the mark “0” or “1”, it gets authorisation to participate in road traffic and the roadworthiness sticker bearing the date (inclusive) by which this authorisation is valid.
When the technical condition of a vehicle at roadworthiness testing (initial test) is altogether assigned the mark “2”, it gets temporary 30-days authorisation to participate in road traffic in the national territory and the roadworthiness sticker bearing the date (inclusive) on black background by which this authorisation is valid.
The sticker is placed in the lower right corner of the windscreen in cars, lorries and buses, and on special base for motorcycle, tricycle, quadricycle, trailer and semitrailer.
When the technical condition of a vehicle at roadworthiness testing is altogether assigned the mark “3”, it fails authorisation or temporary authorisation to participate in road traffic, and no roadworthiness sticker is issued.
Duplicate of the roadworthiness sticker
Section 25(1) of the Road Traffic Law requires the driver to present, among other things, a roadworthiness test sticker demonstrating the validity of the permit (temporary permit) for the vehicle to participate in road traffic.
If a previously issued and valid roadworthiness test sticker is lost or damaged (e.g. if the windscreen is replaced), or if the vehicle registration data indicated on the roadworthiness test sticker have changed, a copy of the roadworthiness test sticker must be obtained.
A copy of the roadworthiness test sticker is issued and attached without the vehicle needing to undergo another roadworthiness test. To obtain a copy of the roadworthiness test sticker, the vehicle must be presented at the unit comparison station of any CSDD Customer Service Centre.
A copy of the roadworthiness test sticker costs EUR 3.61.
For trailers, motorcycles, and quad, a copy of the roadworthiness test sticker can be obtained without having to present the vehicle.
If the vehicle has obvious defects or damage, the inspector may decide to issue or attach a copy of the inspection sticker only once the defects or damage are repaired.
