"Green” ECMT vehicles

ECMT permit are compulsory for lorries and their trailers (semi-trailers) which are used for carriage of goods under ECMT Multilateral Quota. “Green” ECMT permits are often necessary for the road carriage of goods under bilateral agreements.

At present ECMT has established technical requirements for the following vehicles: “green”, “greener and safe”, "EURO III safe", "EURO IV / 4 safe", "EURO V / 5 safe", "EEV safe" and "EURO VI / 6 safe" lorries and their trailers (semi-trailers).
