Necessary documents
The treatment facility accepts the end-of-life vehicle for treatment if, together with the vehicle, the following are submitted:
- vehicle registration document:
- For a vehicle registered in Latvia, the vehicle registration certificate, if such has been preserved;
- for a vehicle registered abroad, a foreign registration document;
- vehicle number plates, if any;
- a document confirming the change of ownership rights, if the person who transfers the vehicle for treatment is not the owner of the vehicle indicated in the registration certificate of the vehicle or its authorized person.
- an identity document (personal passport, identity card, driving license issued by the CSDD or a driving permit), to the person who hands over the vehicle for processing (see the section " Persons who may hand over the vehicle to a treatment facility ").
