Persons who may hand over the vehicle to a treatment facility
Upon presentation of a valid identity document (passport, identity card, driving license issued by the CSDD or training driving license), the vehicle or numbered unit may be handed over to the treatment facility:
- by the owner of the vehicle or numbered unit;
- a representative of the owner of the vehicle or numbered unit, submitting the relevant power of attorney or a copy thereof, presenting the original. A power of attorney issued by a natural person requires the certification of a sworn notary or another person specified in Section 1474 of the Civil Law.
The abandoned end-of-life vehicle is handed over to the processing company by the Cabinet of Ministers on 04.10.2005. Regulation No. 748 “Regulations regarding the Recognition of End-of-Life Vehicles as Discarded and the Procedure for Transferring Discarded End-of-Life Vehicles to a Treatment Facility” in accordance with the specified procedures.
