Number plates of electric vehicles

Electric vehicle number plates are issued to vehicles that can only be powered by an electric motor.

When electric vehicle number plates are assigned to a vehicle for the first time, the registration certificate and number plates are issued free of charge. It also applies to vehicles for which until 01.01.2016 general purpose vehicle number plates had been assigned.
